Boundary Line Builder

• Input Parcel Feature accepts polygon layers only.
• Use this tool rather than a generic polygon-to-line conversion when the result must behave as a cadastral boundary layer — it is parcel-aware, so the output relates back to the parcels it came from.
• For straightforward batch conversion of several polygon layers to lines, without cadastral semantics, use Polygon To Line (multiple) instead.
• If each boundary segment must carry its own bearing and distance as attributes, use Bearing Distance Calc, whose Output Edge Lines is the segment-level equivalent of this tool's output.

1. On the KGA Toolbox tab, in the Geoprocessing group, open the Cadastral Tools gallery and click Boundary Line Builder.
2. Set Input Parcel Feature to the parcel polygon layer.
3. Set Output Boundary Line Feature.
4. Click Run.
5. Add the output to the map and apply the boundary line symbology the map sheet requires.

Requires an active KGA Toolbox license. The tool validates the license before running.
