Corner Point Builder

Corner points are the surveyed marks a parcel record refers to. Because each point keeps its parent parcel's ID, the output can be joined back to the parcel, labelled per parcel, and checked against a coordinate listing.

• Input Parcel Layer accepts polygon layers only.
• Output Spatial Reference is optional. Leave it blank to keep the input layer's coordinate system; set it to produce corner points in a different system without reprojecting the parcels themselves — useful when the coordinate record must be delivered in a particular projection.
• This tool is parcel-aware: every output point carries its Parcel ID Field value. If all you need is deduplicated vertices from one or more layers, with no parcel linkage, Polygon To Boundary Point is the simpler choice.
• Where two parcels share a corner, that location yields one point per parcel — each attributed to its own parcel. That is deliberate: a shared corner belongs to both records.

1. On the KGA Toolbox tab, in the Geoprocessing group, open the Cadastral Tools gallery and click Corner Point Builder.
2. Set Input Parcel Layer and Parcel ID Field.
3. Set Output Corner Points.
4. If the coordinate record must be delivered in a different projection, set Output Spatial Reference. Otherwise leave it blank.
5. Click Run.
6. Add the output to the map and label it with the parcel ID or a point number as required.

Requires an active KGA Toolbox license. The tool validates the license before running.
