Elevation Profile From Point Path

Unlike the line-path version, this tool needs no elevation raster — the heights come from an attribute field. Use it to plot a levelling run, a chainage survey, or any point sequence where elevation was measured in the field.

ការប្រើប្រាស់

Input Point Path accepts point features only. The profile visits points in ascending order of Choose ID Field, so that field must hold a clean sequence along the path. A gap or a repeated value distorts the horizontal axis.
Choose Z Field supplies the elevation for each point. No raster sampling takes place, so the profile is exactly as accurate as the surveyed values.
Output Chart must be a .png or .jpg file. The chart is an image, not a layer — it is not added to the map.
Horizontal distance is computed from the point geometry, so run the tool on a projected layer. Distances derived from a geographic coordinate system are in degrees and will not match the axis label.
All styling parameters sit behind Additional Chart Properties? and are identical to those of Elevation Profile from Line Path. Leave the checkbox clear to accept the defaults.

Chart Surround

Default is `Arial`.
Title Sizeជម្រើស	Double	Title font size in points. Default is `14`.
Axis Label Sizeជម្រើស	Double	Axis label font size in points. Default is `11`.
Enable Legend?ជម្រើស	Boolean	Draws a legend on the chart.

Graph Properties

Line Widthជម្រើស	Double	Profile line width. Default is `1`.
Line Graph Styleជម្រើស	String	Profile line style — `solid` (default), `dashed`, `dash-dot`, `dotted`.
Line Colorជម្រើស	String	Profile line colour. Offers a standard palette plus terrain-themed and ArcGIS-themed colours and a colourblind-safe set. Default is `Blue`.
Add Point Marker?ជម្រើស	Boolean	Draws a marker at each surveyed point. Useful here, since every vertex is a real observation.
Point Marker Styleជម្រើស	String	Marker shape — `point`, `pixel`, `circle`, `square`, `diamond`, `triangle up/down/left/right`, `pentagon`, `hexagone 1`, `hexagon 2`, `star`, `plus`. Default is `circle`.
Marker Sizeជម្រើស	Long	Marker size. Default is `2`.

Add X Axis Grid?ជម្រើស	Boolean	Draws vertical grid lines.

Grid Widthជម្រើស	Double	Grid line width. Default is `0.25`.
Line Grid Colorជម្រើស	String	Grid colour — `Light Gray`, `Soft Gray`, `Subtle Gray`, `Very Light Gray`, `Cool Gray`, `Warm Gray`. Default is `Light Gray`.

Fill Under Graph

Fill Area Under Graph?ជម្រើស	Boolean	Shades the area beneath the profile line.
Fill Colorជម្រើស	String	The shading colour. Includes light, pastel, and dark-mode-friendly options. Default is `Soft Amber`.

របៀបប្រើ

Confirm the point layer is in a projected coordinate system and that its elevation field is populated.
On the KGA Toolbox tab, in the Spatial Analysis group, open the Spatial Analysis menu, point to Create Profile, and click Elevation Profile From Point Path.
Set Input Point Path to the survey point layer.
Set Choose ID Field to the chainage or point-number field that orders the path.
Set Choose Z Field to the elevation field.
Set Output Chart to a .png or .jpg path.
To style the chart, check Additional Chart Properties?. Checking Add Point Marker? is worthwhile here, since each vertex is an actual observation.
Click Run, then open the image file.
