Polygon To Line (multiple)

Unlike a single-input conversion, this tool is built for batch work: point it at ten parcel layers and it produces ten boundary-line layers, named consistently.

  • Each input layer produces its own line feature class in the output location. Output names are formed from the input name plus a suffix.
  • The default suffix is applied automatically. To use your own, check Change Output Suffix and type the text in Enter Suffix.
  • Check Preserve Fields to carry the polygon attributes onto the resulting lines. Left unchecked, the output lines carry geometry and system fields only.
  • Boundaries shared between two adjacent polygons are produced once per polygon, so a shared parcel edge appears as two coincident lines. If you need a single topologically clean line per shared edge, use Boundary Line Builder instead, which is parcel-aware.

  • Checked — Attributes are preserved.
  • Unchecked (default) — Only geometry and system fields are written.
Change Output Suffixជម្រើសBoolean

Enables a custom suffix for output names.

  • Checked — Enter Suffix is enabled.
  • Unchecked (default) — The built-in suffix is used.
Enter Suffixជម្រើសString

The text appended to each input name to form its output name. Required when Change Output Suffix is checked.

Add output to map?ជម្រើសBoolean

Controls whether the outputs are added to the active map.

  • Checked (default) — Outputs are added.
  • Unchecked — Outputs are created but not added.

របៀបប្រើ

  1. On the KGA Toolbox tab, in the Data Creation group, open the Conversion Tool gallery and click Polygon To Line (multiple).
  2. In Input Feature, select every polygon layer you want converted.
  3. Set Output Location.
  4. Check Preserve Fields if the lines need the polygon attributes.
  5. To control naming, check Change Output Suffix and type a suffix in Enter Suffix.
  6. Click Run. One line feature class is created per input layer.
