Optionally outputs the interpolated surface raster and a contour line feature class from the same run.
ការប្រើប្រាស់
- Input Point Survey accepts point or polyline features. Points are survey spot levels; polylines are existing contour lines. Either can drive the surface.
- Choose Z field must be a numeric field holding elevation. The tool reads the field's value range and pre-fills Minimum Elevation and Maximum Elevation from the data, so those two parameters normally need no editing. Override them to clamp the surface to a narrower range.
- Specify Cut Fill elevation is the design level the surface is compared against. Cells above it are cut; cells below it are fill.
- Specify Surface Cell Size controls the resolution of the interpolated surface. A small cell size over a large boundary produces a very large raster and a long run time. Match the cell size to the survey point spacing — interpolating far below the data density adds no real detail.
- Input Boundary clips the interpolation to the project area. Without it, interpolation would extrapolate well beyond the surveyed extent.
- Two optional outputs come from the same interpolation, so requesting them costs almost nothing extra:
- Also generate Surface Raster? writes the interpolated elevation surface.
- Generate Contour writes contour lines at the interval given in Specify Contour Interval.

| Input Point Survey | Feature Layer | The survey data used to build the surface. Point features (spot levels) or polyline features (contours). |
| Choose Z field | Field | The numeric field holding elevation values. Short, long, float, or double. |
| Minimum Elevationជម្រើស | Double | The lower bound of the surface. Pre-filled from the minimum value found in Choose Z field. |
| Maximum Elevationជម្រើស | Double | The upper bound of the surface. Pre-filled from the maximum value found in Choose Z field. |
| Specify Surface Cell Size | Double | The cell size of the interpolated surface, in the input's coordinate system units. |
| Input Boundary | Feature Layer | The polygon that clips the interpolated surface to the project area. Polygon geometry only. |
| Specify Cut Fill elevation | Double | The design or target elevation that the surface is compared against. |
| Output Cut-Fill Raster | Raster Dataset | The raster recording cut and fill volumes per cell. |
| Also generate Surface Raster?ជម្រើស | Boolean | Writes the interpolated elevation surface as a separate raster.

| Output Surface Rasterជម្រើស | Raster Dataset | The interpolated elevation surface. Required when Also generate Surface Raster? is checked. |
| Generate Contourជម្រើស | Boolean | Writes contour lines derived from the interpolated surface.
|
| Specify Contour Intervalជម្រើស | Double | The vertical interval between contour lines. Required when Generate Contour is checked. |
| Output Contour Lineជម្រើស | Feature Class | The contour line feature class. Required when Generate Contour is checked. |
របៀបប្រើ
- Add the survey point or contour layer and the project boundary polygon to the map.
- On the KGA Toolbox tab, in the Spatial Analysis group, open the Spatial Analysis menu and click Cut Fill.
- Set Input Point Survey and Choose Z field. Check that Minimum Elevation and Maximum Elevation have been filled in from the data.
- Set Specify Surface Cell Size to suit the survey point spacing.
- Set Input Boundary to the project area polygon.
- Type the design level in Specify Cut Fill elevation.
- Set Output Cut-Fill Raster.
- To also keep the surface or contours, check Also generate Surface Raster? or Generate Contour and complete the enabled parameters.
- Click Run.
